    A question…

I am a dentist. As you know, there is a lot of plastic waste in medical. One of my biggest peeves is the waste of plastic barriers that we use to coverchairs and countertops – very wasteful but necessary.

We often use clear trash bags and I would like to switch to compostable, but all of the bags that you list have writing on them. This poses a few problems. The ink from the printing often transfers on to the chairs which ruins the upholstery. It also detracts from the clean, sterile look that patients want when they are coming in for treatment.

Can you recommend any biocompostable trash bags that have no or limited print on them?

Hey John – Thanks for the note and a big kudos for wanting to move over to compostables.

Unfortunately, I haven’t seen any off the shelf bags that have no printing on them. The largest compostable bag manufacturer (who you may know) is Biobags, but all of their bags that I’ve seen have their branding & printing on them.

I’m sure we could custom print bags for you that have no branding / printing on them, but there are decent size minimum orders to have bags custom printed (anywhere from 15,000 – 60,000 per custom order). You can see full details on custom prints here – http://vivbizclub.com/suppliers/world-centric/custom-printing-design/

Perhaps this is something that would make sense if you put in a bulk order with a few other dental practices? If so, drop us an email at Partners@VivBizClub.com and we can get you a quote,

Hi, I run a bakery and am looking for a compostable or recycled bag for packaging bread. Just a standard loaf size bag. Is there anything that I am not seeing that might meet my needs? Thanks for promoting all the products that you do, and keep up the good work.
    Thanks, Matthew

Hey Matt – Sure thing. I don’t know of a loaf size bag, but you could check out BioBags which has a pretty wide selection of compostable bags. Hope that helps!
